Airport to Ski Resort Transfers – Austria

Private transfers offer the single most convenient & efficient mode of travel to several ski resorts in Austria (there are always exceptions to any rule, particularly those resorts next to a train station!). Convenience does come at a cost, but if travelling in a group, the cost per person can be better than public transport. Shared shuttles are also available to several popular ski areas. They are great value but do generally have a more limited departure schedule.

For travellers from European & UK flight origins, Innsbruck (INN) airport offers a convenient gateway to most Austrian ski resorts, plus those of north eastern Italy including Livigno & the Dolomites. Similarly, Salzburg (SZG) can be useful to access the popular central Austrian resorts of Kitzbuhel, Skicircus Saalbach & Obertauern. For those arriving from non-European & non-UK origins, Munich (MUC) airport, 2hr north, is the best option.
